Steve Clarke and The Working Stiffs are an award winning, premier jazz, swing and blues band. They perform music from the prohibition era, when Speakeasies were born, right up through the mid 50s. Their mixture of jazz, swing, jump blues, and jive is masterfully performed with excellent musicianship and great vocals by Steve Clarke and Laurie Knutson. They are also known for their fun and often funny songs about food. Their performances put a smile on everyone's face and movement in their feet. They thrill and delight audiences from national concert venues to the state fairs and everything in between.
The group is comprised of top musicians in the Twin Cities including Laurel Knutson (vocals), Ted Godbout (piano), Tom Lewis (bass) and Haralds Bondaris (drums).
